Boost Targets: 16.5psi peak boost pressure tapering down to 13.5psi by the 7000 RPM redline, - 0.8psi. Taking into account AP’s annual production. Each letter is changed after 100,000 watches have been produced. This letter is a so-called sequential number. As you will see on the case back of an AP timepiece, there is a letter that is used in addition to the numbers in the case serial number. Im definitely not trying to blow a new engine or turbo Thanks for the reassurances. Audemars Piguet makes about 40,000 watches a year. I have another AP different serial number Im using. Make some adjustments but when I save the file it locks it a certain AP serial number.

I can download a unlocked tune from Cobb. I just know he was running the base 93 octane map and pulling crazy boost. I understand V2 is not supported by Cobb.

Maybe this was just an issue with that guys AP or maybe he had other mods I didnt see. Granted, I think this was an older WRX or STI (I think it was an 04 or 06) but is there a possibility that I could have the same problem I would think if the map was tuned for a stock WRX, thats all that matters and it should work the same on every stock WRX. I believe his log data showed peak boost at like 17.9 psi Thats extremely high. However, I read another thread where someone with what sounded like basic or even no mods (I think he may have had the SPT cat-back but thats it) was having problems with this map in terms of overboosting. I know there is a Cobb Stage 1 Base Map for a stock WRX running 93 octane. I live in Baltimore, MD where we have 93 octane at every pump. Just had to download the AP Manager, take the latest firmware, and download the maps specific to your car. It was originally for an 08 wrx but with the latest firmware, it works for an STI as well. I believe the only change as because there was more risk to breaking the adapter on version 2. I guess its too late now since I already payed the guy and its supposedly on its way but hopefully knowing its an AP-SUB-003 is all that matters. If anyone from Cobb can chime in on this it would be appreciated. I kept thinking that the model number, in my case the.-003 part, stood for the Version number. I think thats where some of the confusion lies with me and other as well. I believe they said the AP-SUB-003 will work on 2008 WRXs (and STis, etc.). When I checked with Cobb tech support last week before purchasing it, this is what they said I needed to worry about. However, the more Ive been reading, the more it seems its actually a change in the hardware.Ĭan anyone tell me if its possible to get an older version unknowingly Since I have a 2011 WRX, is getting an AP-SUB-003 all I need to worry about (meaning that its automatically got to be a V2).Īgain, I dont have it yet so all I know from the pic that the seller sent me is that its definitely not a V1.
